You may treat yourself in this festive season by doing more than just shredding the snowy slopes and sipping hot chocolate. From November through January, visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge to soak up the beautiful ambience of winter before ringing in the new year!
Capilano Suspension Bridge Park has a new look in the winter with a lighted show. By dusk, some 500.000 lights had been gathered to enhance the park’s splendour. All of the sparkling lights transform into a variety of distinctive and playful decorations, allowing you to fully appreciate the festive atmosphere of Christmas.
What’s more, guess what? The Capilano Suspension Bridge isn’t the only spot in Vancouver where you can see the spectacular light show. Grouse Mountain, with its famous Light Walk, is another popular tourist destination in town.
The magnificent Light Walk appears to lead you through the woods with its light display when the sun shines down and the mountain is blanketed in snow. This is a little trail surrounded by pine trees that is most beautiful at night.
After a long day of rocking Grouse Mountain, it’s a perfect idea to save the Light Walk for a romantic evening activity with your date!
